Viols of the Creek has had a busy year so far. We have performed on February 12 for Texas Early Music Project on February 12. It was an honor to play before they had their concert of Lassus. In addition we also opened the concert for Harmonia Stellarum Houston on February 25 before they played of concert of Pergolesi: Stabat Mater. These are great opportunities for the ensemble to perform for an audience that isn’t their family or in a school setting. We are preparing also for our performance at Boston Early Music Festival on June 9. This is an awesome opportunity to show that young students can play the viol and do it well.
